I’m about to jet out of Barbados on a 23 hour flight path back to South Africa. I have been here for just over a month and really loved spending time on the island with all my new friends!
Barbados will always have a special place in my heart as I say a goodbye, I will be sure to write you a good travel story on my long journey home, with all the info you need to have a great time on your next trip here. It’s really a remarkable place that will always be special to me!
I really hope I get to come back to the Caribbean in the future, its got an energy and flavor that really sticks with me!
About This Look
I received this cover up from one of my new favorite labels on instagram called Haya Collective. I am always looking for new places to shop and buy interesing garments. Although I do love mainstream brands, its refreshing to support local cult brands like Haya. Besides just supporting Haya, I have a little thing for long cover ups lately. I think they’re so chic and easy going at the same time!
For this look I kept my cover up as the statement piece with a simple white tee and jeans under. Since we shot on the beach I opted for no shoes here but I would usually wear slops or heels with this look depending on where I am going. I kinda toyed between a choker and hat or no accessories at all really, I couldn’t decide which I liked best. What do you guys think?
